RCS is a sponsor for the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. All students in grades 6-8 had the opportunity to prepare for the grade level spelling rounds held at the end of January. There were three finalists in each grade level vying for the chance to appear at Proctor’s in Schenectady for the final round. The ten finalists competed against each other for two slots to represent RCS at Proctor’s Theater in Schenectady on Tuesday, March 16th at 5pm.
